The year was 1984 the place was the Troubadour in Hollywood, CA when the Down Boys Co Founders Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon met. 32 years later and 8 million albums sold, the Down Boys and Warrant have become a household names. Within that time the Down Boys theme song Cherry Pie is still one of the most placed songs in TV and Film. Erik and Jerry’s passion and experience in the Music Business has led the them to create an artist driven Label with a Major Emphasis on Music Placement.
The Down Boys Vision: Create a Library where Music Supervisors, Production Companies and Ad Agencies could go directly to the Artist, Label and Publisher.
That vision quickly yielded the Down Boys over 1,600 placements.
